When the love in letters fade
It’s like moving in slow motion
And we’re already too late if we arrive at all{x}
With no-one wearing their real face
It’s a whiteout of emotion
And I’ve only got my brittle bones to break the fall{x}
When I thought that I fought this war alone
We were one with our destinies entwined
When I thought that I fought without a cause
You gave me the reason why{x}
Imaginareum teaser trailer
“Imaginaerum tells the story of an elderly composer, Tom, who suffers from severe dementia. As he has had the disease for years and has regressed into childhood, he remembers practically nothing from his adult life. His music, friends, all his past including the memory of his daughter are a blur in his fragile mind. All he has left is the imagination of a ten-year-old boy. As he drifts away into coma, it seems impossible to get back what he has lost. Tom travels through his imaginary world seeking answers and finding memories, while his daughter, Gem, tries to recover the bond she had once shared with her father in the real world. As they have become more and more distant from each other over the years, and as there’s even greater obstacles separating them now — Tom’s coma and his imminent death — Gem’s project feels doomed to failure. However, through Tom’s darkest secrets, Gem discovers the path she must follow in order to find her father again.”
51 followers! Wow!
We just hit our 50th follower, rapidly followed by the 51st.
This is a mind-blowing. When I started this blog it was mostly just for a friend and me. We had no idea how wide an audience we’d reach and even then we thought we’d mostly attract Finnish fans who knew him as the Sonera spokesman.
Anyways what I’m trying to say is thank you for following. I’ll have to think of something to do but it may take a few days as I’ve never planned for this contingency.
“Oh! We just hit 51 followers!”
“Yay! How did that happen? People must really love Ilkka Villi.”
Truer words were never spoken.
Because it appeared that there were no screencaps of these, I went ahead and grabbed about 150 images from Poets of the Fall’s “War” music video.You guy can see all the captures here.
(Slightly freaked out because “OMG THERE’S A CLOWN CHASING ALAN IN ONE OF THOSE SCENES!” And yes, it’s terrifying.)
And also, I nabbed some screens of “Alan Wake’s American Nightmare” here if you’re curious.
Poets of the Fall - War
We just finished a video for Poets of the Fall War from the Alan Wake soundtrack featuring Ilkka Villi as Alan Wake. Location Bright Falls. The video got almost 10000 viewers in Youtube in its premiere day! That’s something!
The video is directed by ALEKSI & AKSELI. Produced by Tre Film Ab. I shot the film on my new toy: Canon Eos 5D MarkII. Incredible quolity low key situations! I love it!
